FEATURES
During my first year on staff, I'd tremble at the thought of an interview. But I've grown to confidently ask questions and passionately listen. Features are my favorite. I fell in love with hearing people's stories and I fell in love with telling them.

More Than A Lipstick Mark
This story was originally brainstormed as a review of the new drag performance spot in our neighborhood. But after realizing the impact this place had on students, I altered the focus to be a feature.

Sarah & The Stars

This was one of my first feature stories, so I learned what it meant to ask hard-hitting questions and dig for details to tell her story well.
