HIGH SCHOOL WORK
Whew. Here it is.
I made a promise to myself that I'd come out of these four years with a sense of accomplishment and a portfolio filled with quality work. I wanted to look back and feel proud of what I've produced. There were several all-nighters, intense brainstorm sessions and caffeine runs that led to this collection. Click any section to get started:

Thank you for visiting my portfolio site! Here you'll find work I've done over the past four years on staff of The Harbinger at Shawnee Mission East High School.
As an editor and storyteller, I strive to give my community a voice — and this publication has shown I have the ability to share vulnerable stories and incite meaningful change.

The Harbinger has impacted me more than I ever thought possible while nervously tapping my foot on my first day of staff. The countless in-depth interviews, 20-person brainstorms and national conventions transformed me from a shy wallflower to an extroverted leader.

I now light up at the chance to take on an intimidating story or ask tough questions, and the strong communication skills I've learned while organizing a staff of 70 will lead into my future.

I'm so grateful for my adviser and The Harbinger community I've built over my high school years — without them, none of the work I've done would be possible.
