INSTAGRAM POSTS

Below are some Instagram posts I created to promote other staffer's stories on Instagram:

Utilizing patriotic colors and a football graphic, this Instagram post promoted a story about why athletes should get involved in politics.	This Instagram post was inspired by the page I designed for a staffer's story about a girl who uses pottery as her escape. The color scheme matched the page, so it correlated well, and I chose to enlarge the cutout over the text to put emphasis on her.	Since we had beautiful pictures for this online head-to-head opinion, I made the photo my focus and added some teaser text.
This was the Instagram post for our second issue in 2020. I pulled the graphic from our cover and incorporated text that matched the color scheme. This was reposted on Instagram stories and helped promote the issue.	I made this Instagram post for my own review about a couple food trucks and a boutique on wheels. I incorporated aspects of the print design to keep it consistent, and teased with some pictures so people would be interested in what I reviewed.	This Instagram design was created quickly as our school district announced we'd be moving to hybrid learning. I used a graphic our staff previously made to keep the consistent theme for our COVID-19 coverage, and used contrasting colors to pull the eye in.
