OPINION & REVIEW
Throughout my time on staff I've preached the same advice whenever someone writes an opinion story: get solid evidence to back up your claim.
Editorials and opinions need more than just complaining to prove a strong point, and that's what I strive to do with my writing. The research piece comes into play with reviews too — you can't write a great story about sushi if you don't know the right terms to describe it.

Frying Frenzy
I noticed air fryers were the hot topic in my community. Whether it was parents or students, all of our typical readers seemed to be obsessed with this kitchen tool.

I spent hours testing out a few recipes for this review, taking note of my mistakes and giving an honest review for our audience's enjoyment. This was my first time cooking for a story, so I read cooking blogs to pull inspiration and expand my knowledge.
